These terms apply to the Red Orchid website at redorchid.ca, to customer accounts, and to appointments requested online.
Our salon rules — arriving late, cancelling, no-shows, deposits and what happens during a visit — are set out separately on our Policies page, and are not repeated here. How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Customer accounts and online booking are for adults aged 18 and over, and by creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18. Services for clients aged 11 to 17 are arranged directly with us by a parent or guardian rather than through this website — the age rules for services are on our Policies page.
Keep the contact details on your account accurate — we use them to confirm and change appointments, and a wrong phone number or email is the usual reason a customer misses a reminder.
Please keep one account per person, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens through your account. If you sign in with a Google, Microsoft or Facebook account, that is simply another way into the same Red Orchid account, and the same responsibility applies.
Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close an account that is being used abusively, fraudulently, or to make bookings the customer has no intention of keeping.
A booking made online is a request for an appointment. It is confirmed when we confirm it, and we may need to contact you about the time, the technician or the service.
Prices, durations and availability shown on the site — including anything the price calculator estimates — are indicative. The service you actually need may differ once your technician sees your nails, and the final price is the one confirmed at the salon.
Changes, cancellations and no-shows are governed by our Policies page.
If you attach inspiration photos or notes to a booking, please only upload images you are allowed to share. We use them to prepare for your appointment and for nothing else. Photos of your own nails taken at the salon are only shown in your account or published in our gallery where you have agreed to it, and you can withdraw that agreement.
Please do not attempt to break into the site or other customers' accounts, interfere with how it runs, scrape it automatically, or upload anything unlawful, malicious or offensive.
The text, photographs, designs and branding on this site belong to Red Orchid or are used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change. To the extent the law allows, Red Orchid is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects your rights as a consumer.
We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date below.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada that apply there.
