Maintain it. Do not start over.
Maintain it. Do not start over.
Two maintenance paths in one appointment: a Gel Overlay refill for natural-nail strength, or an extensions refill for length you already have. Booked within 28 days for short or medium nails, 21 for long and 17 for extra-long, priced by what is being maintained, not restarted from zero.
A refill maintains work you already have rather than removing and rebuilding it. Two different things get maintained here, and the appointment differs depending on which one is yours: a Gel Overlay refill rebuilds the architecture on your own nail, and a Full Set refill maintains length on upper-form extensions. Both are booked as the same service and priced the same way — by what the appointment actually does, not by which one it is.
The appointment includes:
80–90 min, whichever system is being maintained.
"Refill" covers two different things here, and both book as one appointment — this page is where the difference actually lives.
Gel Overlay refill — maintaining an existing Gel Overlay. If your Gel Overlay has grown out at the base, the refill rebuilds that architecture without removing the rest. Overlay itself builds moderate length — short, medium or long — so this refill maintains whatever length and shape you already have within that range, not just reinforcement on a bare nail.
Gel Extensions refill — maintaining an existing Full Set. If your Full Set extensions have grown out, the refill corrects the base and restores length and form on the existing set — short through extra-long, the one range Gel Overlay does not reach.
Not sure which one is yours? Both book as the same appointment and the technician confirms at the table — the only thing that changes is which system is being maintained.
A refill also keeps the same hands on your set. The technician who built it knows which materials were used and how they wore, and can adjust them at the refill. A refill costs less than starting again with a new full set.

The most common question at this point is whether a fill is enough or a restart is overdue. As a rule: if the existing structure still holds and only the grown-out section needs correcting, a refill is enough and costs less. The technician will assess your existing nail structure and condition at the appointment, but cannot extend the applicable refill window. If the base has lifted broadly or the shape has moved, restarting is the honest answer: a Gel Overlay that is no longer suitable for refill restarts as a new Gel Overlay, and Full Set extensions that are no longer suitable restart as a new Full Set. Refill eligibility is based on your last performed set or refill: up to 28 days for short or medium nails, 21 days for long nails, and 17 days for extra-long nails. These are maximum refill windows, not online-only limits. After the window, book a new Gel Overlay for natural nails or a New Full Set for extensions.
80–90 min, whichever path applies — the same price and time whether the refill is maintaining a Gel Overlay or restoring extensions, since both are the same appointment on the plate in front of the technician. Length additions beyond what is already there are priced the same as a new set: medium C$12, long C$25, extra-long C$41.
This includes the same dry combined manicure as every other appointment here, not a stripped-down fill — that is the difference between this and a basic gel fill elsewhere.

Choose Gel Overlay when you want your own nails reinforced: the technician chooses the material after assessing the nail, and the overlay can build some length, normally short through long. Book a Flawless Gel Nail Extensions — Full Set for length beyond long, or to rebuild a missing part of a nail on an upper form.
Book a Gel Refill while your Gel Overlay or extension set is within its refill window: up to 28 days for short or medium nails, 21 days for long and 17 days for extra-long, counted from your last refill or new set to your appointment date. Regular refills keep the set in shape, and a refill costs less than a new full set. After the window, a Gel Overlay restarts as a new Gel Overlay and extensions as a New Full Set. If we can’t confirm your last visit or nail length, the studio checks before confirming. We refill only work we built: another salon’s extensions, Gel-X or acrylic are removed as a paid Complex Removal first.
It starts with an assessment of your nails’ thickness, flexibility and any damage. The builder gel is then chosen for your length and nail condition: we use builder gels from DARK, DNKa’ and LUNAmoon rather than the original BIAB™. The work itself is gentle on the plate: minimal filing, no pressure or overheating, and removal by material, never by tearing, leaving a safe thin layer rather than filing down to the natural nail. The honest limit: it is a coating that needs upkeep, and it does not heal or treat a nail.
Three to four weeks of wear. To keep it in shape, book your refill within 28 days for short or medium nails, 21 for long and 17 for extra-long (Gel Overlay goes up to long). If a nail chips or lifts within five days of your appointment, we fix it free, up to three nails; the exclusions are in our policies.
Every service is priced with its time on our prices page and in online booking. Standard extra length, including extra-long, books at those prices; custom lengths beyond extra-long are assessed and priced at the appointment. Removing another salon’s work is a separate paid Complex Removal. Before any work starts, your estimated total and time are confirmed with you.
