Choosing between our three manicures in Calgary
All three manicures are performed by Olga Palamarenco, one client at a time. When you return to Red Orchid, the same technician can build on what she learned about your nails at your previous visit.
Preparation on its own. The Flawless Russian Manicure runs 40–55 min — dry e-file work on the cuticle and the lateral folds, shape and symmetry, and every nail assessed for how it grows. No colour.
Preparation and colour. Gel Manicure is that same appointment with gel colour over it — 55–75 min, with base coat, colour, top coat and cuticle oil included. Gel is also what makes architecture correction possible, so this is the appointment where nails growing unevenly, downward or hooked are actually worked on.
No coating at all. The Japanese Natural Manicure runs 50–60 min: the same detailed dry manicure, finished with a mineral paste and then a fine powder, each buffed into the nail surface with its own dedicated buffer. No polish, no gel, nothing cured under a lamp.
If the nails need reinforcing rather than finishing, that is a material decision, not a fourth manicure. Reinforcement is Gel Overlay, and it books on top of the manicure: it books as a Builder Gel Overlay (BIAB) on top of the manicure, with or without gel colour. The Russian Manicure page sets out which of those combinations suits which nails, and the table below carries the current price for every one of them.
Coating is only ever applied as part of a full manicure — there are no polish-only, colour-change or colour-refresh appointments, and regular polish is not used here at all, on hands or feet. Booking is required as a rule. Walk-ins are accepted only when a technician is available.
